Where There Are Heros There Are Villians (In-Complete)

Matthew shifted slightly as he stepped into the darkened hallway. Only a couple lights lit up the gloomy, long stretch of steel walls that lay beneath the school. This was his first time seeing it, though he had long since believed that it was true. A dictator had risen with the school as his first base of operations, and now Matt was seeing it with his own eyes. At least, as well as he COULD see in this dim place.

He had been contacted last night by an anonymous letter stating that this man wanted to see him now. He had taken the bait, and now Matt just had to do his job. Act. The male was dressed in a dark suit and tie, looking as presentable as possible. This man, though still in the shadows for most things, was dangerous. He had already killed, and Matt didn't plan on adding his own body.

His footsteps echoed like gunshots as he walked down the hall towards the thick iron door that blocked his path. Although Matt had thought the walk would be long, it took no time in fact, and he wasn't even ready as he reached the door and, with a surprisingly steady fist, raised his hand and knocked. Almost immediately a small slit opened up, a pair of unfriendly eyes greeting him. "What?" The voice was course, and Matt had to contain a smile. He seemed friendly.

"He sent for me." Matt murmured simply, and after a moment, the slit shut and Matt could heard several locks being undone. The door swung open, a black cavern greeting him, and taking a silent, deep breath, Matt headed inward, the wind gushing as the door was shut behind him.

"Look, if you don't want your face caved in, LEAVE!" Michael barked suddenly, and after the sudden outburst of a loud voice, the two males in front of him scampered off. Being so strongly built, and with obviously nothing to do, Michael was often approached about joining various sports or clubs. The male had no interest in that sort of rubbish, nor the type of people who generally hung out there.

Heaving himself off the chair, Michael considered going back to his dorm room, because like half the school, despite it being high-school, it was extremely prestigious, and many students lived on campus year round. Shuffling towards the end of the cafeteria, Michael stretched his burly arms above his head, yawning lightly before scratching himself through the black t-shirt that read "AC/DC Back In Black" on it. As per usual, the male had nothing to do that day. Probably another day of the usual routine of the gym, reading, sleep.

Darius Sinclare pulled on his long sleeved black coat. The tail of it reaching the floor, a bronze color embroidered it around the seems and also a pheonix design that was on the back. He looked himself over in the mirror for a moment.

Calais looked at her father, her dark brown hair hung over her shoulders and her hazel eyes were surprisingly bright in contrast to her dark eyeshadow. "Dad. I think you're fine. You're hiring him. Not dating him." She said with a sigh. Darius looked over at his daughter. He didn't look amuzed by her commentary and his eyes narrowed. A static charge could be heard building as a small jolt of electricity flew toward her. "OW!" She cried out looking over her hand. It now sported a bright red mark on bother her palm and back of her hand. She glared at him.

"What have I told you about respecting me?" He asked. His voice was deep and had a dark tone to it.
"Respecting me is respecting your future. With out respecting me you will be no where." She rattled off for the hundredth time.

Ezra was perched on the ledge of the balcony that over looked the first floor. Bars were installed on the outside of the ledge which made it easy for her to move from floor to floor. Her bright red dreadlocks shifted slightly from the breeze as she watched a large, well tanned guy scatter some underlings. She smirked. Like the other students she had a dorm but she also had worked her ass of to secure an apartment off campus. After all the school didn't need to know everything. They didn't even know about what was happening just below the surface of there once great utopia.

Ezra let herself grab the bar on the outside of the ledge and slide down it. "Hey." She said softly once she'd gotten her footing on the ground she was now standing behind the tall male. He stood almost a foot over her. She herself was only five foot six. "What was that little mess about?" She asked with a cheeky grin.

"Hello sir." When Matt was finally announced in to see Darius and Calais, the male bowed to them both, giving them a friendly smile. "And lady. I am Matthew Fredrickson, as you requested." He stated obviously before straightening. All the nervousness that had been coursing through his body before was completely gone now. He was in his zone, as he had to be, or he'd be killed. And so, no fear or doubt was in his face or eyes as he looked them both square in the eye. "It's an honor to meet you under such circumstances."

After a moment, Matthew continued, easily breaking from the greeting into the reason. "So, I understand you requested me to help you gather intelligence." The male shifted lightly. "If I may be so bold, I'll assume that it's because of my race." Whether or not Darius and Calais knew it, or they just assumed from the rumors that he was as good as they say, Matthew attended the school for a reason, after all. And that reason was the fact that he was a shapeshifter, able to transform his body to how he saw fit, which was extremely useful for disguises and information stealing. "So in short, you'd like to hire me as a spy to find out weaknesses in various places, yes my Lord?"

Michael considered not even stopping as he heard someone land behind him, but after a moment, common courtesy demanded that he at least about face and see whomever had come to annoy him next. Turning, Michael raised an eyebrow at the red-head. He knew he had seen her before, maybe in a couple classes? Ezra was her name, at least he was pretty sure. "Do I know you?" Despite the fact that he had just remembered her name, Michael grunted out his usual "why the hell are you talking to me" greeting.

He, however, didn't wait for a response to answer her question. "It was nothing. A couple punks trying to get me to join the wrestling team. As if I'd be caught dead play fighting with the rest of them. If you can't throw a punch, what's the point." Michael muttered lightly. "Why?" He added suspiciously. "Did you send them?" While in normal schools sports were separated by gender, in a school like this such things didn't exist.

Calais rolled her eyes. "This business is between you two not me." She said getting off of what she was sitting on. Darius tossed her a stern look that clearly read, do you want to be hurt? Calais' mouth tightened.
"Calais you will sit back down and you will listen and watch what I do. One day you will take over for me. You must remember this as it happens. You will have a place in history." Darius said then turning his attention back to Matt.
He nodded some. "Yes this is one reason as to why I sent for you. You've also been able to get information that has been previously inaccessible." He said softly, a slow grin forming on his lips as he made a slow circle around him. He stroked his goatee and the smile broadened. "Show me what you are capable of lad."

Ezra smirked. "Maybe you do." She said tilting her head and smiling as she walked behind a pole. "Then again you probably know of me. Very few actually know me." She said with a grin. She relaxed leaning against the pole.
At his next statement she raised a brow slightly dumbfounded. "You're really going to ask me that?" She laughed. "Wow. No. Do I look like the sporty type to you, Goliath?" She said. She knew his name but Goliath seemed to fit since he looked like he was built like a tank and was a giant compared to her.

Matt merely smirked slightly to the male's daughter before turning his attention back to Darius. He didn't know why the daughter was so hostile, but he'd deal with that later. Nodding to his new lord, the male suddenly went invisible. Thirty seconds later the guard at the door screamed as Matt suddenly appeared next to him, his arm around his neck and the guard's wallet and keys in his other hand. "Like taking candy from a baby." Matt pointed out, handing the guard back his stuff as he patted his cheek teasingly.

"I can also transform myself into a small animal, or even a fly, and slip through door cracks or around lasers that would reveal my invisibility. I haven't been caught snooping in my entire life, and trust me, my lord. I snoop a LOT." Matt moved back in front of Darius, and bowed once more. "I doubt anyone but yourself would be able to catch me."

"Excuse me?" Michael grunted at her nickname for me. "I am no Goliath!" He started in indignation before he realized, at looking at her smile, that she was merely teasing him, and stopped his outrage with a grunt. "Either way, what do you want?" Michael demanded, looking down at the red-head with a mixture of annoyance and a little admiration. After all, not many people had the guts to tease someone who towered over you like that.

"Most people don't just randomly say hello, you must have had a reason." Michael added after a moment, not wanting to seem terribly rude when she, at the very least, seemed fairly friendly.

Calais yawned not wanting to think about what was going on and laid back some on the seat she was in. Darius ignored her and grinned. He walked over to Matt and tilted his head up with his hand. "You have still. But if you ever use them in the wrong place you will pay for it." He said as he was slowly picking him up with just his hand under his ching. "Do you understand me?" Calais rolled her eyes to this. She'd seen her father do this many times before and was growing tired of it. She walked out of the room and into the entry chamber that Matt had to go into to get to the room the three of them had been in.

Ezra continued to grin and she gently nudged herself off of the pole. "I want alot of things." She said as she walked around him, double checking his build. Though she was doing in a way that looking like analyzing him instead of actually looking him over in a flirtatious way.
"First!" She said sticking her index finger close to his face then quickly removing it. "How observant are you to what's going on around here?" She asked. She needed to know if he'd heard the rumors about the overlord that was making a rise. More importantly she needed to know if he believed them.
